Sin City : Crime & Corruption in 20th Century Sydney

Sin City : Crime & Corruption in 20th Century Sydney
Everyone loves a grimy crime story; the grimier the better. With television like Underbelly taking out top ratings, gooey forensic dramas playing out pretty much nightly on multiple channels, and movies continually pushing the boundaries of their classification with sordid details, the regular non-criminal population seems to eat this stuff up like there’s no tomorrow. So what better exhibition...

Blue Steel : Australian Fashion Week 2010

Blue Steel : Australian Fashion Week 2010
In case you were wondering why there were a slightly higher number of tall, stupidly skinny and really really good-looking girls (… best Derek Zoolander impression there folks) wandering around the CBD at the moment wearing perfectly eclectic accessories, strutting across at the traffic lights like they’re on a catwalk, it’s most likely because of Rosemount Australian Fashion Week...

With a star-studded line-up of local and international talent, the festival will be filling pretty much any venue around Sydney capable of accommodating a microphone (or maybe a few boxes...

Weekend 26-28 March : portraits with the lights out…

Weekend 26-28 March : portraits with the lights out...
Everyone knows you can have the best fun when your lights are off, so why not join in Earth Hour this Saturday night? Even though this yearly event only started a few years back in 2007, over 4000 cities around the world will be switching off their lights in the name of environmental awareness and energy conservation. So please, don’t be alarmed if you’re on the bridge at around 8:30pm...
